It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of DP2A.

Just like many other small organizations, the past year has been hard and budget constraints have unfortunately taken their toll, leaving us with no further options. We want to say a special thank you to everyone who supported us throughout the years. Thank you for the help, the laughs, the conversations, the adventures, and most of all, just for coming out! While DP2A may not have lasted forever, we are immensely happy that this program has led to friendships (and even a few relationships) that will live on.

REMEMBER: Detroit’s rich art scene needs now you more than ever before! It’s pivotal that we support artists through this difficult time, so they’ll be able to continue to create and positively impact our community for years to come. Once again, thanks for everything each and everyone who of you has done over the past 12 years to support our work to bring more people to the Detroit art scene. Our team can’t wait to be out in the community again with you all soon, soaking up all of the amazing creativity that our city offers.
