DP2A OPERATING BOARD
DP2A is looking for creative, passionate, and strong community leaders of all ages to serve on our volunteer Operating Board. You must be willing to donate your time and energy to this dynamic and growing program to help further our mission of cultivating the next generation of arts patrons. The DP2A Operating Board contributes ideas, financial support through new sponsors and donations, and helps take DP2A’s message out into the community.
The Board meets 4 – 5 times per year. Responsibilities and expectations include making a board gift, attending the meetings, purchasing a passport, and serving on one of our committees.
Committee members attend 4 – 5 meetings per season to help with creating the marketing and passport sales plan, renewal strategies, and build networking and audience development partnerships. This committee also helps create the marketing plan for our signature event, Hollywood in Detroit.
DEVELOPMENT & FINANCE COMMITTEE
Committee members attend 4 – 5 meetings per season to help with season budgeting and financial oversight. Members also help create and execute the fundraising plan, including connecting DP2A to individuals and businesses who are interested in supporting our mission.
Committee members attend 4-5 meetings per season to plan DP2A events including a Season Launch Party, summer fundraising events, and Destination after parties. Members will also work extensively on Hollywood in Detroit, our signature event.
Because DP2A is a program of ArtOps and directed by their staff, human resources are limited. We are always looking for volunteers to help with pre-event coordination such as filling tickets and preparing materials, as well as hands-on help at events handing out will call tickets and setting up for after parties.
