The Planets is a seven-movement orchestral suite by English composer Gustav Holst written between 1914 and 1916. Each movement of the suite is named after a planet of the Solar System and its corresponding astrological character. Since the The Planets initial premiere, the suite has been enduringly popular, influential, widely performed, and is frequently recorded.
Additional performances will include a 20th century work by Ligeti and a piano concerto by Chopin.

ITINERARY
7:00 PM: Will Call opens at Orchestra Hall.
8:00 PM: The Planets begin.
10:00 PM: After party begins at the Music Box (in the same building, across the lobby) with Dj OJ of of PhatMusic Entertainment.
PARKING
Valet Parking is available for most concerts directly in front of the Max on Woodward Avenue for only $12. Parking is available for $7 in the Orchestra Place Parking Structure located on Parsons just south of The Max. Handicap parking is available.
