Eisenhower Dance Ensemble performs Red, Hot & Blue.  With stunning technique and innovative choreography, Eisenhower Dance Ensemble has been captivating audiences for two decades. Red, Hot and Blue is an eclectic and entertaining program by an array of nationally renowned choreographers.  This wonderfully theatrical evening will deliver on athleticism, passion and sheer joy. Presented at the Detroit Opera House.

AFTER PARTY

After an inspiring evening of dance, join us at the Cuban after-party right across the street at the Detroit Beer Company.  DP2A will take over the third floor for a night of drinks, food, and fun!  There will also be an appearance by some of the EDE dancers to meet and mingle with the DP2A crowd.

Raffle tickets for two great prizes will also be for sale at the after  party.  Bring cash so you can be eligible to win one of two great prizes: a Cuban Mojito Basket or a Valentines Day Weekend Date Basket, complete with red wine and a special DSO package with two tickets to either the February 15 or 16 Beethoven Festival concert (including parking and a VIP lounge passes).

ITINERARY

6:00 PM: Will-call opens at the Ford Center Entrance on Broadway Street. The Ford Center is just down the street from the main entrance to the Opera House on Broadway Avenue. (There is an awning clearly labeling the entrance.)

6:30 PM: Come early for the FREE pre-lude performance by EDE Center for Dance Student Companies!

7:30 PM: Red, Hot & Blue performance begins. Approximate run-time is 2 hours.

9:30 PM: The night’s Cuban-themed after party begins across the street from the Detroit Opera House at Detroit Beer Company (1529 Broadway)! We’ll enjoy Cuban music, appetizers and some of the company’s famous house brews!

The Detroit Opera House covers one city block between Witherell, John R, Broadway and Madison streets. Parking is available for $15 at the Detroit Opera House Parking Garage – located just behind the Opera House on John R and Broadway OR limited street parking is available.
