THE RED CARPET
Februrary 19, 2010 – 7:00pm – There is a star in all of us. Why else do we each seek our 15 minutes of fame? The Detroit Film Theatre (a program of the Detroit Institute of Arts) will prepare you for animated discussions with your friends prior to Oscar Night. The DIA presents their annual showing of the Oscar Film Shorts in their gorgeous 1200 seat auditorium, designed by Paul Philippe Cret.

Enjoy a champagne and hors d’oeuvres reception in the Crystal Gallery reception space. DP2A members will walk the Red Carpet at the evening’s fashion show. Tour one of the city’s cultural gems, dress like the stars and vote for best action short and best animated short!
