WHAT IS DP2A?

Detroit Passport to the Arts provides an introduction to the Detroit cultural scene for people 45 & under. With an affordable passport, DP2A offers an opportunity to experience Detroit and its culture with like-minded people. A passport provides access to six performances, including dance, opera, symphony, theatre, film and chamber music, followed by six social networking events.

HOW THE PASSPORT WORKS

Enjoy all the VIP benefits you would normally receive when purchasing a season pass to a single organization’s series, but instead of committing to just one series, you will enjoy a sampling of offerings by some of metro Detroit’s world-class arts organizations.

PASSPORT BENEFITS
Variety: six different organizations offer six shows with a plethora of accompanying activities.

Access: enjoy meeting the artists, experience backstage tours of the venues and find access to a new group of adventurous people.

Affordability: $125 for six nights/six performances/six events = that’s about $20 per evening!

Flexibility: concert dates may be exchanged in case of a conflict. Until they are sold out, passports will continue to be sold throughout the year enabling friends or family to opt in at a later date.

The mission of Detroit Passport to the Arts is to cultivate the next generation of arts and culture enthusiasts in Metro Detroit through increased awareness of and access to the arts community.
